Linglong spent 5 years at Airbnb, where she became the Tech Lead on Airbnb Payments team. Her infrastructure projects securely handled over $88B USD of payment volume at scale. Before Airbnb, Linglong built out Search infrastructure for walmart.com at Walmart Labs, after she dropped out of her PhD program. Linglong’s research specialized in data mining, information sharing and decentralized coordination in cooperative multi-agent system, 10 years before the word “protocol” came into popular Web 3.0 vocabulary.
